There are a lot of entertainment avenues for tourists visiting Lake Tahoe. The most popular one being water sports, winter sports, hiking and mountain biking. People can also indulge in gambling activities here, as it is legal in this part of California.
Lake Tahoe Horizon Casino Resort, Bill's Casino Lake Tahoe and Lakeside Inn and Casino are few casinos that are located in the nearby regions. The Tallac historic site which was a great resort a century ago has now transformed into a tourist destination.
Gatekeeper’s Museum is a nice museum to be visited while the Sponner State Lake Park is quite popular among the tourists and locals. There are two other neighborhoods that are great tourist attractions here, the Alpine meadows and the Squaw Valley.
Both the summer and winter season are very exciting and full of events. Usually, people enjoy the art music, skiing, water sports and athletic events.
