As the name of the city Lawndale suggests the complete city is a plain area with covered grass. The city is almost on the outskirts of the Californian state. The complete geographical area covered by Lawndale city is just around 5.8 square kilometers. This complete area is full of green plains. The city does not have any industries nor does it have any agriculture. The people living in the city have to go out of the city for working in the neighboring cities. The temperature of the city is not so hot through the year. In fact it is very mild for the major portion of the year. The population of the city has increased tremendously in the last decade because of the favorable conditions available in the city. As per the last measured census the city recorded a population of around 31,177. The prices of the houses available here are also very less and affordable. So this figure of population is still increasing at a very high rate.
