The Lone Pine Festival has been held each year since its conception in 1990. The festival is held to celebrate the rich heritage which film makers have brought to the area over decades. It takes place in the month of October for three consecutive days. It is total fun for the entire family and includes live entertainment by guest stars, award winning musicians, seminars and terrific films. There are also tours of many places in Lone Pine. In 2009, it will be held from October 9 to 11th.
