Long beach airport also known as Daugherty Field, is a public airport located in Long beach, California, and serves Los Angeles and Orange counties. It was formally known as the Long beach municipal airport.
The airport has four smaller runways and one long runway for jets (10,000 ft), plus nine taxiways, and occupies 1,166 acres of land. The airport serves nearly three million commercial airline passengers annually and is host to the Alaska airlines, Delta airlines, Jet Blue airways and the US airways.
