The Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden is an island of serenity with 1.5 acres of garden, built by Mrs. Loraine Miller Collins. This garden was named in honour of her late husband, Earl Burns Miller, as an educational and aesthetic resource for the campus and the community.
It is a pristine example of the Japanese horticulture and has an amazing Koi Pond with Koi fish, which feed and swim at all different speeds. A great feature of the Garden is the Zen rock garden. The gravel is raked to symbolize the ocean waves; the bonsai - the forest and the boulders - mountains.
