Situated just next to Long Beach Harbor, Shoreline Village, with its beautiful and picturesque views, is a great place to head for shopping, a leisurely stroll, or just to spend some quality time people watching. It's quite touristy and parking can be a bit of a nightmare, but if you can overlook those two things, it’s a pleasant place to hang out with tons of eateries and cute shops. There is also a trail that you can run, walk, and bike along.
After a great day of sailing, be sure to swing by the Yard House for a drink and a great view of the docked boats. Shoreline Village can be pretty crowded on weekends and it’s not a place you’ll find the locals frequenting, but it’s still worth a trip. If for nothing other than the beautiful views.
The view of the sunset here is exceptionally stunning and if you don't mind the crowds, it can be a pleasant place to spend a romantic evenings strolling along the harbor.
You can sign up for boat tours or dinner cruises along the coastline as we ll as rent bikes and jet skis. Shoreline Village is also just steps away from the Aquarium of the Pacific, the Pike, Pine Square, the Queen Mary and, of course, the beach.
