The University of Southern California Trojans are a legendary football team who battle inside an equally legendary arena. The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum is an iconic stadium and the heart of the University Park college town in Southern California. Located at 3911 South Figueroa Street, the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum is home to one of college football’s most renowned teams and seats an impressive 93,607 spectators.  Dating back to 1923, the Coliseum has hosted a slew of events over the years in addition to its typical Trojan games, such as an LA Dodgers exhibition game, various big-name concert events and international soccer competitions. Its most notable distinction, however, is its reputation as the only facility in the world to host two Olympic Games, not to mention two Super Bowls and a world Series as well.

Dozens of famous athletes have torn up the turf on the Coliseum’s field and now have their names etched on the plaques in the “Court of Honor.”  This area provides an entertaining and enlightening forum for visitors to view outstanding athletes and achievements with a close connection to the Coliseum. Even if you are just at the stadium for a sporting event, learning about the greatness that has passed through the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum is an experience in itself.
