Pico Boulevard is a Los Angeles district and has many Salvadorans who immigrated to North America, in Pico Union during the Salvadoran Civil War. Pico Union is also one of the poorest neighborhoods in Los Angeles and is a sub district of the Westlake community. With a population of 8,598, this neighborhood has immigrants from El Salvador, Nicaragua, Guatemala and their descendants.
