Wilshire Boulevard is known as one of the principal east-west arterial roads situated in Los Angeles in California. This Boulevard is named after Henry Gaylord Wilshire, who was an Ohio native who made and lost fortunes in farming, gold mining and real estate. He had initiated this boulevard in 1890s by clearing a path in his barley field. At present, this boulevard is running 16 miles from Grand Avenue to Ocean Avenue.
