The Leo Carrillo State Park has 1.5 miles of beach which is great for surfing, swimming, surf fishing, beachcombing and also for wind surfing. The park also provides opportunities for back country hiking. This park was named after Leo Carrillo, an actor, conservationist, preservationist and who served for 18 years on the California beach and parks commission.
