Malibu Pier is a South California icon in an area which was once known as the Riviera of America. This is a historic landmark situated in the heart of surf culture of California. This landmark was built in 1906 for private railroad of Frederick Rindge. This is a site to see and has some interesting history behind it. The surfers around the globe come to Surfrider Beach which is adjacent to the Malibu River. There are also other attractions near the pier like a gift shop, diner and a surf museum. A wonderful way to spend time at the pier is to watch the whales and opt for harbor tours. This location has been used for many movies and serials.
