There are several Twin Lakes in Mammoth Lakes in California. Both of these lakes are about an hour apart and look more like Triple lakes than twin lakes. The lakes are quite shallow having lots of algae and other plant food in the water. Twin Lakes are popular lakes with fishermen too. It is also mandatory that no powerboat or swimming is allowed here. Twin Lakes have paddling facilities for those who want to sightsee and enjoy the lakes beauty.
