Situated geographically in the County of Monterey which is present in the California State of the USA, Marina is a city named so because it has a large marine beach. Marina was incorporated in the year 1975 and is also the most novel member of the Monterey Peninsula. It is well connected to the neighbouring cities via waterways and roads. According to a survey in which land was measured, this town was recorded to have a total land area of 24.9 square kilometres. The census that took place here recently showed that this place has a population of 25,101 people. Its strategic location amidst beautiful water spots makes it an important tourist attraction. Majority of the crowd is driven here during the festival celebrations of 'The Marina Air Fare' and the 'Festival of the Winds' both of which witness flying of planes and kites. The climate here is of the mild Oceanic type and is always found to be cool. The humidity here is around 60-65 percent.
