The Mojave Desert is referred to as the High Desert by the local people occupying a prime part of smaller portions of central California, southern Nevada, Southeastern California and northwestern Arizona in the entire region of United States.

This place is named after the Mohave tribe of Native Americans that spreads over an area of 22,000 square miles in the Range topography and typical basin.

Mojave deserts spring season are greatly influenced by the Pacific Storms although the rainfall is extensive during the entire year apart from month of April. Summers out here are dominated by heat with temperatures rising above 120 °F (49 °C) and over 130 °F (54 °C) on the lowest elevations.

Whilst the Mojave region is very thinly populated but has gained  urbanization in the past few years. This  desert is a one of the most famous tourism destinations in North America, mainly because of the Gambling city Las Vegas.
