Tourist Guide Monterey:

Monterey is positioned along the Pacific coast in Central California the Monterey Bay having a population of 30,641 and is famous for its resident artists and their history beginning in the period of late 1800’s and also it’s historically famed fishery.

Monterey’s climate is regulated by its proximity to the Pacific Ocean resulting in average high temperatures ranging from 16° Celsius (60° Fahrenheit) and slight snowfall during the winter months.

The world’s longest consecutively running jazz festival is annually held in the Monterey County Fairgrounds. The city has a strong arts community having museums abound in the city along with international and local artists.

The city of Monterey has gone a long way in history and is famous for the abundance and multiplicity of its marine life which includes sea lions, harbor seals, bat rays and dolphins.
