The Morro Bay Bird Festival is a weekend-long festival which includes tours to a variety of habitats like deep water pelagic, oak woodland, riparian, wetland, estuary and the one of its kind grassland habitat of Carrizo Plain. The festival also features workshops on variety of subjects like beginner birding classes and gull identification. Other facilities include nature related artwork, books, field equipment, attire and local merchant wares.
