The Morro Bay Harbor Festival is an annual festival celebration of the Central Coast's one of a kind food, drink/wine, lifestyle and working waterfront. The festival is organized every year on the first weekend of October. First held in 1982, the Harbor Festival hosts a number of popular activities including the Californian Seafood Fair and Wine Tasting Pavilion, Maritime Heritage Pavilion, Sand Sculpture Spectacular, Carnival Cove, and also the opportunity to taste local seafood specialties. The festival also offers many live music bands from jazz, rock n roll to country-western music.
