Tourist Guide Mount Whitney
Mount Whitney is in the Sierra Nevada range in California. At an elevation of 14,505 feet above sea level, it is the highest point in the contiguous United States.
The mountain is accessible via the city of Lone Pine on US-395, running along the eastern side.
This place lies within the Sequoia National Park Wilderness and the John Muir. Tourists come here to select their hike which is the best route to summit of Mount Whitney and the main Mount Whitney route.
The entire hike is about 22 miles roundtrip having an elevation of 6,100 ft. The tourists climbing this shall check the quite steep east side of the mountain offering variety of challenges while climbing.
Tourists can enjoy the nature views and must ensure to seek a valid permit to enjoy the safe journey in the Mount Whitney region.
