The Grant R Brimhall Library serves as the main library for the Thousand Oaks city in California. This library is controlled by the Thousand Oaks Library System, which even controls the Newbury Park Branch Library. The Grant R Brimhall library main building is 59,000 square feet and the adjacent Special Collection Storage building is 3,000 square feet. This library is known as the largest library in the region and also one of the largest in South California. Prior to its relocation in 1982, it was named as the Thousand Oaks Library.
