The Upper Newport Bay was carved out by the prehistoric flow of the Santa Ana River. It feeds the delta which is the Back Bay and joins Lower Newport bay. This bay is known as the Newport Harbor. There are harbor cruise provided on the Pavilion Paddy to acquaint with Newport Beach Harbor. One can also soak up sunshine whilst moving through green water.
