The Upper Newport Bay Regional Park is a regional park which borders the Newport Back Bay and consists of 140 acres of open space. This is also a coastal wetland which is renowned as one of the great bird watching site in North America. It is also home to around six rare bird species. There is also a three mile of one way paved path which is used by walkers, bicyclists and joggers.
