Imperial Sand Dunes are a great place to visit whilst in South California. Here, there are tallest dunes in California. Some of the dunes are almost 400 feet tall. The parks where the dunes are located are quite giant at 15 miles wide and even 40 miles long. The south side of the dunes attracts millions of people. This place is total fun and at night, people come here to camp and to have fun along with the bon fires. The north side of the dunes is closed to the vehicles off the highway and here one can also find some big dunes and places to hike.
