Preservation Park is located in Oakland's city center. In the late 19th century Oakland was a thriving waterfront city, the second largest in the state. This unique park includes 16 Victorian houses with restored facades, a park with Victorian benches and street lamps as well as a fountain near the Oakland Federal Building.
