Jack London Square is a popular tourist attraction on the waterfront of Oakland, California. One can find stores, restaurants, hotels, the Amtrak station, a ferry dock, the historic Hinold’s First and Last Chance Saloon and the theater in this square which is a beautiful movie house to visit. The name of this place is derived from the Great Jack who donated this place.
It creates an important tie with a lively working waterfront, a celebrated culinary community, and the multiplicity of cultures that comprise the urban fabric of East Bay.
