Buccaneer Beach is known to be the southern most public beach of Oceanside with Carlsbad a mile to the south. This beach is also considered as the smallest beach in the city with one lifeguard tower. There is a park across the beach which also consists of a grassy area having a sheltered picnic area. There are also facilities like barbecue grills, showers and restrooms.
