Oroville: Attractions and more...
The special location and a wonderful climate are a heavy combination to take on by the tourists. The best attraction of this place is the Oroville Dam, which is a huge structure and also the largest one in the entire United States. This dam also led to the development of the Oroville reservoir which proved to be a boon to the inhabitants here. The tourists can enjoy this lake as a relaxation center. There are orange orchids here with the mother orange trees standing firm and tall, claiming to be the oldest in the entire state. A very different industry, the fish hatchery is built on the table mountain, which is useful for educational trips. To ease a little work load the Riverbend Park can be visited. It involves stress busters like discos, fishing and water sports to enjoy during the summers. The Bedrock Park is another recreational activity centre with some very good beach facilities. For adventure lovers, there is the Brad Bikemans Trail, which is a 41 mile road designed especially for racing dirt bikes.
