The Ventura County Maritime Museum is a scenic haven and a cultural center situated in the Channel Islands Harbor which is complete with maritime art, ocean breezes and ship models. This museum has an ever changing calendar of museum exhibits. It was opened in 1991 and is also a nonprofit benefit corporation. This museum receives financial support from friends, members and also from charitable foundations.
