Situated geographically in the County of San Mateo which is present in the California state of USA, Pacifica is a city which is based along the Pacific Ocean and hence the name. To be more precise, this settlement is situated between the cities of San Francisco and Half Moon Bay. The city of Pacifica is very beautiful and is surrounded by beaches, hills and valleys that are found near the Sweeney Ridge. According to a survey in which land was measured, this town was recorded to have a total land area of 32.8 square kilometres. The census that took place here recently showed that this place has a population of 40,401 people. Most of the people are indulged in coastal activities and also for the enhancement of tourism. The climate here is favourable and is always cool due to the proximity of the ocean. Fogs are a common sight here.
