Tourist Guide Palm Springs Desert
Palm Springs Desert is located in the beautiful Coachella Valley in California, USA. This region was inhabited initially by the Cahuilla Indians; presently, it is home to around 180,000 people.
Although a desert city, Palm Springs is famous for its tourist resorts and picturesque scenic beauty. The topography of this city is extremely diverse with the noteworthy sites being the Santa Rose Mountains, Sonoran Desert and Mount San Jacinto (famous for its geothermal springs).
The city experiences a warm and dry climate. Winters generally have a temperature of around 24°C, while summers on average have a temperature of approximately 39°C. The city’s economy is dependent on the countless spa hotels, restaurants, casinos, historic sites and other recreational facilities that give a boost to the tourism industry, which in turn, leads to economic growth.
