Lake Avenue can be described as one of the major north-south feeder roads for Altadena and Pasadena communities in California. The origin of this road can be traced to the 19th century. The name ‘Lake Avenue’ has been derived from ‘Lake Kewen’ that lay towards southern-most end. Length of Lake Avenue is around 8.14 Km. Majority of this road is served by Metro Express Line 485.
