Quincy is located at Plumas County, California. The city is named after Quincy City in Illinois. It has an elevation of 1046 meters and it is in the Pacific Standard time Zone. The rest includes Native American, Pacific Islander, African American, Asian and other races of Latino and Hispanic. Quincy is one among the three major mountain communities with reports of incorporation including Burney in Shasta County and Weaverville in Trinity County. It is the only city in Plumas County to own a big grocery store and a customary food charter. It has also got a subway. Quincy is famous for the High Sierra Music Festival.
