The Plumas County Museum is a major tourist spot of Quincy that has permanent exhibits on the excellent array of baskets woven by the Mountain Maidu Indians. The museum also features several events and meetings. It also presents gold mining, logging, railroad history of Plumas County. Other collections of the museum include audio-visual resources, history specimens, long boarding (a ski racing competition), children’s toys and medical exhibits.
