Red Bluff is a county seat of Tehama County in California in USA. The city is situated on the upper region of the Sacramento River and is named after the red sandstone and gravel cliffs in its surroundings. The city covers a total area of 7.5 square miles out of which 7.4 sq miles is made of land and the rest is water. The city lies at an elevation of 305 feet and is the 3rd largest city in Shasta Cascades. The city lies to the north of Sacramento, northwest of Chico and south of Redding. The city had recorded to have a population of 26,000 as per the 2007 census, most of who were Whites. The city has 249 sunny days on an average per year with July being the hottest at 98 degrees and January the lowest with 37 degrees temperatures. Red Bluff gets 23 inches of rainfall and 2 inches of snowfall per year.
