Downtown is a neighborhood in Redding, California. It is 495 feet on average and the northern, eastern and western side range between 550 – 800 feet. The southern area spreads between 400 – 500 feet. Downtown is in close to the Sacramento River and Turtle Bay Exploration Park. The main attraction in Downtown is Viva Downtown Marketfest which takes place during the summer months on each Thursday evening. It emphasizes on art, music and food. There is a famous eatery called The Downtown Eatery that specializes in Seasonal World Cuisines, Art Shows, and lot more. Tapas Downtown is known for yesteryear cocktails.
