The Sacramento River Trail designated as a National recreation Trail by the US on June 1 2002; is a 9-mile scenic trail and home to horseback riders, bikers, joggers and cyclists. The first segment of the Trail opened in 1983. There are mile markers along the way for the travelers and provides 20 miles of public access to the river. Main attractions types is the trail itself and biking trail.
