Manteca Historical Society and Museum was chartered in the year 1990 as a non-profit association. The entire community can be proud as it has made immense strides in furnishing a local historic museum. The hours of operation of the museum is from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Thursdays and Sundays. The exhibits of the museum includes a blacksmith shop, castle ranch, 1927 La France, Yokut Indians, 1920’s kitchen etc.
