Mission Inn can be described as one of the historic landmarks located in Riverside.. It had evolved with along with its adjacent community by reflecting life surrounding it, in a special manner. Prime factors were cultural interests, personality, and ‘business tactics’ of ‘Frank Augustus Miller’; who came to be known as ‘Master of the Inn’. Hotel wings were added soon to this building. As Miller’s father had been associated with ‘civil engineering’, he bought home-hotel in the year 1880. Grounds were transformed in to a garden. Age-old Concord Coach was utilized for meeting guests at 1st rail station.
