Riverside National Cemetery was established at the time of the 1st World War. It was utilized as one of the anti-aircraft facilities at the time of Second World War. On 27th of June, 1976, Department of Veterans Affairs received around 740 acres from Department of Air Force. Official opening took place on ‘Veterans Day’. This cemetery performs around 7000 interments every year.
