Rohnert Park, which is situated about 80 kilometers north of San Francisco, is a city in Sonoma County, California. The estimated population of the city as per the census of 2006 was 41,083. Rohnert Park, according to the United States Census Bureau, has a total area of about 6.43 square miles. According to the Census Bureau, Rohnert Park is entirely made of land and at the north end there is a tiny reservoir called Roberts Lake as well as a number of creeks. The important creeks include Five Creek, Crane Creek, Hinebaugh Creek, Copeland Creek and the Laguna de Santa Rosa. According to the 2000 census, there were 9,797 families, 15,503 households and 42,236 people in the city. The population density of the city was 6,564.5 inhabitants per square mile. The racial makeup of Rohnert Park was 80.28%25 White, 0.78%25 Native American, 1.07%25 African American, 0.42%25 Pacific Islander, 5.58%25 Asian, 5.25%25 from two or more races and 5.72 %25 from other races.
