The Sacramento Zoo is situated in William Land Park in Sacramento in California. Opened in 1927 with simply 40 animals, it presently is home to around 140 native, endangered and exotic animals. Its present area of expansion is 14.3 acres and has a lot of attractions, especially for kids. This zoo offers an educational as well as recreational resource to the city of Sacramento.
