The Capitol Mall Shopping experience is broad and beautiful from the architectural history of the neighborhood buildings between 3rd and 9th Streets to the natural beauty of the nearby American River Parkway to the numerous area malls. Those include, among others, the nearby upscale Pavilions Shopping Mall, the Arden Fair Shopping Mall (including Macy’s, Nordstrom, Michael Kors and a working indoor carousel for entertainment) and the Folsom Premium Outlet Mall (including Calvin Klein, Nike and Eddie Bauer, bebe and The Gap) only a 25 mile drive away from the downtown Sacramento Capitol Mall region. Between finding the perfect shoes at Franco Ferrini’s to selecting a painting at Ventana Art Gallery to fit ideally in the entry to your home, visit the Bangkok Garden Restaurant for garlic chicken with curry and drunken noodles and a Thai Sundae for dessert. In the mood for the best burgers in town, try The Squeeze Inn. Or for a quick lunch of homemade soup, a Shrimp Caesar Salad or an eggplant vegetarian sandwich, it’s a good bet at the Le Bou Bakery and Café.
