San Bernardino is a county in the U.S. state of California with an estimated population of 205,010. It is the largest county in the United States in area, in comparison to other 9 smaller states. The city lies at the San Bernardino foothills and on the eastern part of the San Bernardino Valley. San Bernardino has a transitional climate pattern, with mild to chilly winters, hot summers and very dry conditions all the year-round. Occasionally, snow flurries occur within the city limits. Various groups of different origins reside in San Bernardino making it one of Southern California's most "majority minority" diverse cities. San Bernardino has many parks and recreation centres. The San Manuel Indian Reservation has become famous as a full-scale Las Vegas-style casino, which is also one of the area's largest private employers.
