Another main spot of attraction is the Junipero Serra County Park, which is accessible from the Crystal Springs Avenue. This park also includes plenty of hiking trials, picnic tables, picnic shelters as well as barbecue pits. This park was named after a Franciscan friar, Junipero Serra who established numerous Spanish missions in the state of California. The administration of this park is by the San Mateo County Parks and Recreation Department and it charges a low entrance fee on weekends.
