Air & Space Museum is an aviation and space exploration museum situated in San Diego, California.
Opened in 1963, it is frequently known as the “Smithsonian of the West”, for its high concentration of museums. This museum has many original as well as reproductions of historic aircraft and spacecraft. The collection grew at an incredible rate with the addition of additional space.
Due to the contribution of the city to aviation and aerospace history and technology, it is one of the premier aerospace museums in the country.
