The San Francisco International Film Festival was founded in 1957 and is known as the longest running film festival in America. The festival is held each spring for almost two weeks and is an extraordinary showcase of cinematic discovery and innovation in San Francisco. It features more than 200 films and live events along with 100 filmmakers who attend the fest.
