BART story actually began in 1946. It was conception of gradually evolving of informal gatherings of business and civic leaders who were on both sides of San Francisco Bay. These people discussed ways to ease the mounting congestion which was blogging the bridges that spanned the Bay. And so, in 1947, a joint Army Navy review Board announced that there will be link connecting San Francisco and Oakland.
