Fort Mason is also called as San Francisco Port of Embarkation, US Army and is situated in San Francisco, California. This is a former US Army post along the San Francisco Bay and served as an army post for over 100 years.
Built in 1912, during the World War II, it handled the cargo for the Pacific campaign. At present, this place is a part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area and offer many cultural amenities.
The grassy hilltops and hollows are perfect for picnics, walking, sunbathing and some sports activities.
