The Golden Gate Bridge is the most attractive feature of San Francisco.
This is a huge suspension bridge built on the Pacific Ocean.
It is part of a major US route that connects the Marine County with San Francisco city.
The bridge is recognized world wide due to its long suspension span, of 4,200 feet. The length of the bridge is about 8,981 feet and it was built in 1937.
This bridge is an architectural masterpiece. It can be accessed by bike riders and pedestrians who can enter the bridge from the eastern side.
The bridge is painted red appearing International Orange in colour. This colour and its design are the main features that attract visitors.
At the entrance to the bridge, visitors can buy gifts at the souvenir gift shops.
