The Presidio of San Francisco is located in California, USA.
A part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, the Presidio of San Francisco is known for its historical and military significance, its diverse landscape and stunning architecture.
The Battery Chamberlin houses artilleries from the nineteenth century and is worth visiting. Similarly, the Exploratorium is an excellent museum with a collection from all fields of human life. The West Coast World War II Memorial is a beautiful site built to commemorate those who died during the Second World War. There are areas of scenic beauty as well that will be liked by all nature lovers. Some of them are the Baker Beach, Lovers’ Lane and Mountain Lake. Fort Scott, Golden Gate Club and the Palace of Fine Arts are some of the architectural landmarks in this preserved area.
