The State Park located on the Angel Island is one of the mesmerizing places in San Francisco.
The park is spread around the Caroline Livermore Mountain.
The mountain rises at about 788 feet above the ground. This is one of the peak attractions in the city.
In ancient times, the Angel Island was a part of San Francisco’s main land. Hence, one can make out the striking similarity between the natural habitations of both the lands.
The complete island is covered with grass and lush green forest. This is the largest island in San Francisco Bay as well.
The park stretches across an area of 740 acres.
Visitors can see spectacular views of the San Francisco city, Golden Gate area and Marine County. One can indulge in countless number of recreational activities like boating, camping, biking and hiking in this park.
Visitors can walk on the trails which were once used by the native Miwok Indians.
